All That Glitters - - and Spins

The lights have gone up and the stockings are hung. Our little tree glitters and is gaily bedecked from head to toe (and occupying a good chunk of the small living room!).  

It's been a great year and this last flurry of holiday exchanges will be the perfect way to cap it off. Standing outside looking in, the house is all aglow while beside me, the whirligig spins furiously in the evening wind.
