Self Portrait With Ornaments

Another busy day today. I dropped off Helena in time to meet the delivery guys for her new bookcase and headed off to see Heidi, my wonderful therapist. She is so great and really gives me great feedback and advice. Then I picked up Arvin and we went to the Alzheimer's Society of Washington support group. He and other folks with memory issues met in one room. I met with other care givers and our leader in another. As usual we had a great discussion.

Then Arvin and I went to Helena's apartment. She has now emptied all the boxes and is still putting things away. Soon it will be time to have Bunny join her and for her to stay there. we are getting closer.

From there we went shopping. Soon after we got home Steve arrived and we played Carcassonne before and after dinner. Then we watched a very interesting show on our PBS called "Amnesia." Great mystery with us guessing the whole time.

I had snapped a couple of photos early in the evening and now I'm posting my blip. It is nearly midnight. One of those days.

Forgot to mention the ornaments. We hang them on our windows on a chain with lights strung along the chain. The santa on the right is an antique that I inherited from my parents. The egg at the left is one of a group of egg ornaments that my brother Steve and I made when I was around 15 and he was around 8. I love those and have them spread across the whole display.
