A walk up the falls

Decided that I would walk up the falls at Lodore to Watendlath- harder going than I expected! Steep climb up past the falls, clambering over rocks and fallen trees. Once out in the open ground the heavens opened and the hailstones came down- yes, hailstones in May! It was worth it when I got to the farm cafe at Watendlath- delicious homemade soup then coffee and some of the best gingerbread I've ever tasted!
