Waiting to go on stage at the Usher Hall for the annual Lothian Hospitals' Carol Concert.

We arrived early with the plan to avoid the crush of big bums, bosoms, elbows and hairspray. I mean, forty nurses, all shapes and sizes, squished into a Green Room meant for ten ( there are fewer men, so they have more space to get their lippy on), it can be torture.

Christina managed to catch Cathy with her glitter spray.

"It's from one of those nasty cheap shops on the Bridges, but it's just a bit of fun."
