Breakfast in the sunshine

I'm looking after these for someone I love very much. Unfortunately after almost thirty years together she's decidedthat she wants to live on her own. I'm still trying to persuade her that there's nothing she can do elsewhere that she couldn't do here with me. I have to hang onto a glimmer of hope, otherwise all really is lost. I have the hens, she has my heart.
