Who you looking at?!

The bird life in the canaries is quite similar to ours, with some exceptions obviously! I had been trying on and off to capture the kestrels or maybe they are peregrines that circle up high above our apartments, but none of the shots were close enough to distinguish what they are! I was leaning on the balcony somewhat dejected without a blip, then I heard the distinct blackbird call, and looked around to see this little fella sitting in the tree right beside our balcony! I remember somebody saying to me that if you stay behind your camera, the birds don't get spooked, well, it worked, as I was quite close to him considering.
