Christmas spirit

It was our Christmas meal at work today.  The festivities started at 12pm with drinks in the oak walled conference room, followed by lunch in the restaurant.  The meal was great fun but the most special parts of the day were the extra little touches that people made - as I got into work this morning I found that every door in the building had a little chocolate hung from it, and I was given some unexpected and beautiful cards and gifts from colleagues.  It reminded me how important it is at this time of year to show our thanks to those with whom we share our lives and who make the world a better place to be.
