Back Blip

Last day in Madrid this trip. Successfully collected the Egyptian visas from the embassy this afternoon and then went for a walk in the Paseo de Castellana. Nearly had lunch here but decided to return to another favourite which also had the attraction of being a good deal cheaper!

The trip home on the AVE was a dream - lovely to leave the city at 6.30pm and sit back and watch the sun set on the meseta.
