Stability

Been to Wolvesey for the second time this week, this time for my monthly quiet day. I've been looking at setting up a Benedictine rule of life. There are three vows - obedience, stability and change! That seems a contradiction but it means knowing who you are in Christ and standing firm and being open to change in order to move forward. It sounds right up my street.
I love this window. It's not easy to tell from the photo but it's really wonky. But it's clear in its identity as a window. Bad analogy I know but good excise to get the photo in!
