You'll go where you wanna go..
I cannot tell you how excited and worked up I get about sending Boy a parcel.
Birthday was a good box - his whole office enjoyed the scenario.
For Christmas - I wanted to make sure it got there early. Do you know, when you ship with a courier you have to complete FCC Forms. Import forms for items coming in to a country. I cannot tell you how difficult it was to code some of the things in that box.
Then I shipped it off with Dave, from a well-known company who gave Tom Hanks Wilson. As soon as it goes a tracking screen updates you on it's process. It left the office at 2.45 on Tuesday. It got to Paisley at 4.35.
It then seemed to take a bit of hiatus, and appeared to sit in Paisley for some time. I began to worry.
All through Wednesday there appeared to be no movement. But then, on Wednesday night - it Said "Leaving Stanstead". Oh how I yelled with glee.
On Thursday morning, it was in Indianapolis. I had to check the map! A bit north of North Carolina, but getting closer. It hadn't cleared customs and I was starting to worry about the FCC Numbers. And then... "Cleared Import". I was so excited.
At work I checked in - and amazingly it had arrived in Raleigh... and then an hour later... Wilson....
And an hour ago - Boy text to tell me he had received it. He is uber excited - the office were uber excited.
They had enjoyed the Birthday Gifts. The Kitteh Money Box with real moving parts, the fluffy turtle who shone stars on the ceiling :-)
They all want to see what is inside this one. But I wrapped them all up! Loads of little pressie, all wrapped in sliver paper for under the tree.
And to make my joy complete... Santa has just come past with his hundred elves... Band Aid (The original) playing and I stood and waited til he finished with the kids and got a cuddle.
It was lush. Just Perfect.
It's beginning to feel a lot, like....
