"Holy Duster".

The Holy Dusters number seven ladies, and one gent, and we clean the church ( St Mary with St Alban) on Thursday mornings. My job is to shine up all the brass wall plaques, two rather large candlesticks and the lectern and paschal candle stand shown above. We are a cheery bunch - when we are done we gather in the vestry for a cuppa. In the summer we take our chairs out into the graveyard and have our tea there, much to the amusement of passersby and folk on the upper level of the 281 bus!
