Snowdonia National Park

Daylight comes in all forms of shapes. Most people associate daylight with blue skies and sun. There's a lot more to it. The delicate play of sun rays in fog, the soft effect of a low cloud cover, direction, angle, intensity, colour. Daylight is, indeed, a diverse animal.

This image was taken coming back from Snowdon, Wales. I hiked up in a complete downpour. This was my second time going up Snowdon and unfortunately I haven't been able to see anything from the summit. However, coming back, the low cloud cover over the lake create some wonderful play of light. I had to capture the moment.
