Light in the darkness

A truly atrocious day!

It was slightly less horrible when we set out to do our usual Thursday morning circuit of the St Ives Estate, starting in the dark it barely got light by the time we were approaching the buildings near Coppice Pond.

I think that is why I was attracted to take this shot looking into the courtyard of the St Ives Equestrian centre towards the light and probably warmth of the stables. It looked most inviting!

Perhaps that 'other' stable was lighting the darkness to invite us in too, maybe it still is.
