Festive Street Music

We went visiting friends tonight.  It was a lovely Christmas gathering and to top it off at one stage we were serenaded by members of the Marlborough Brass Band.  (This is an A Grade Brass Band…for brass band fans.)  The members had been divided up into several truck loads in order to cover a larger part of town.  They played Christmas carols and some of us sang along with them.  Alas, it started to rain just as they moved off down the road which would not be good for their shiny brass instruments.  Here the leader of the band is waving to us as he wishes us a merry Christmas.
