Tower block, Manchester

I stayed in a Holiday Inn last night (what a glamorous life I lead!) that was about a mile from central Manchester. As I had some time on my hands this morning I decided to walk to my meeting in town. This tower dominated 2/3 of the walk and the last 1/3 if I looked behind me.

This photo was taken next to a railway line and I liked the fact there was no other structure to see (apart from a crane if you look very carefully).
