A Rather Strange Encounter
After I picked Flynn up from Daycare we took Rumi to the beach. It was overcast and misty...the light lovely.
I am sure that one will understand that when I say that when I meet a dog it has an energy which is picked up on a primal level (mostly) and there is an immediate understanding of YES.... NO....STAY AWAY....HAVE A CHAT .....SCRATCH THE TUMMY etc.
With this dog there was such a strange feelling.....almost nothing......I could tell by Flynn's face that he felt it too...then ' that is a very strange dog Nanny'........and then even Rumi said a quiet hello and walked on ...which I will say is a very different for Rumi who usually likes to hassle other dogs within an inch of their lives. I think perhaps he was a very private dog.
Wonderful ...something to talk about in an otherwise uneventful day.
“All his life he tried to be a good person. Many times, however, he failed.
For after all, he was only human. He wasn't a dog.”
