Museum
of London.
Down in the basement of the museum these huge sections of fibreglass are the sections of two thirty foot long Salamanders that were displayed outside the museum when they had an exhibition about the exhibition
Now rather than throw these huge displays out the museum has given one to the drama centre as long as the centre can take it away. Each section is pretty big and with their steel framework to allow them to be fixed to a wall weigh enough that four of us were struggling to lift them and get them on the lorry
Fortunately a passing Lithuanian shopfitter gave us a hand; at one point I think Vlad was lifting me as well as the front of the section we were carrying. We got half the thing back to the centre safely and we'll have to go back for the rest in the New Year
