White House

After my meetings in Washington today I went for a walk with my camera.  I walked over to the White House, down to the National Mall and the Washington Monument.  This photo is the last one I took while out from of the White House.  It's from Lafayette Park.  It shows the extra security the Secret Service had out in front of the building. This was because of two fence jumping incidents in the weeks prior where one guy actually made it into the building.  You can see they wouldn't let people even into the street.  It's too bad that no people can get close to "the People's House!"
