Merry

A well-planned day off (last night was our work Christmas party). Spent a lovely afternoon in town with Parky – lunch, shopping (including for charity Christmas cards in the beautiful church at the foot of Lothian Road), lots of chat and a couple of pints to round the day off nicely. She's a very good egg, that one.

I'm afraid I'm really not a fan of the new site. I miss the grey, and am really frustrated that, in most cases, you can't see photos in their entirety, you have to scroll down. There are bound to be teething problems I guess, but that seems fairly fundamental. And no more choosing your thumbnail! Bah. :-(
