Spitfire restored

This was not my intention today. I went to the boat to do some jobs and intended to Blip the action. However the camera stayed in the car and I'd closed up the boat and then realised I hadn't taken my Blip.
Couldn't miss tonight though with the new look website, so it was the Spit that got the honour.
Made by my uncle in the early part of the second world war. Family rumour has it that it was carved from a piece of propeller from an aircraft shot down near Harrow which was where he worked.
It was suffering a bit, the perspex stand had snapped and one propeller blade had been knocked off, so a couple of weeks ago I spent an afternoon in the workshop putting it back together, hope Uncle George approves....
BTW Evil Goat and A~ have his old tool boxes and each has some of his tools, I have amongst other tools of his an inch and a half wide bevelled chisel that is at least 75 years old and keeps a razor edge.
