Training #TraditionalBirthAttendants #Bangladesh

This is Momena, Komola and Halima Khatoon from the village of Putimari, Chuadanga in Bangladesh. As Traditional Birth Attendants, whilst they may have previously received no formal medical training, they are trusted and respected by the families and expectant mothers who live in the surrounding area. 


By providing these women with comprehensive training on safe childbirth, teaching them how to recognise danger signs during labour, as well as providing them with sterile medical equipment, IMPACT Bangladesh is ensuring the safe delivery of thousands of new-born babies throughout the region.
