Poinsettia

Well, this is all bright-shiny-new! Congratulations to Blip Central on getting it all up and running again within the estimated time frame.

In the absence of other people's photos to look at today, I was reduced to writing Christmas cards. I mean, really! That smacks of desperation, doesn't it?

Then I noticed that the new 10-18 lens says "macro" on the side of it, and thought I'd have a go at sticking it into the middle of a poinsettia to see what a super-wide macro looks like. Rather odd is the answer (operator error, quite possibly) - but when I shifted the frame to add in some Christmas tree bokeh I decided the result was quite fun. I hope you like it too.
