Kingfisher Blipped!!!!

I finally caught up with the holy grail of water birds while on a short day visit to Bellingham. Wa. with friend to do some shopping.  While walking along the boulevard boardwalk I heard the infamous chatter of a kingfisher and ran   walked rapidly to where it was...Pulled out my  big camera with the  big lens darn it small camera but one with a super fine lens and blipped away.   I was in 7th heaven just seeing this elegant fellow as he sat patiently waiting to dive bomb on a fish.  Great to see him and greater yet to be able to actually get a decent shot of him.  Yay :)
