Pincushion Hakea Late Autumn

On a dull late autumn evening in Buinyong (Australia) this 'pincushion hakea' in our garden lifted our sprits, especially as it is the first year it has flowered. And the bees love it. I love to watch them at work, going deep into the flowers gathering pollen and nectar.
