After the storm

Things were a lot more settled today after the storms which hit yesterday. Wonderful to see a bit of blue sky this morning, though they were still scudding through the sky quite fast with the wind. Started the day at the beach near Uig on the west coast. Had a play with a time lapse video, though I beat a hasty retreat to the car when the rain and hail hit in :-)

Returned to the beaches I'd been to yesterday in the car for the afternoon. Though the winds were much lower, the sea state was still up creating some impressive breakers, and sometimes the crest of the wave bas blown to spray. Not as majestic as yesterday, but much more enjoyable.

Back to the mainland tomorrow, with a few days staying in Glencoe to have a look around Glencoe and Rannoch Moor. No beaches there - lots of mountains instead!
