Sea of greens
Had a not too grueling Friday harvest today--in fact I had time to walk around afterwards and take artful (I hope anyway) pictures of a few of the crops in the waning sunlight. This hot green mess is White Russian Kale, one of three varieties of kale growing on the farm. Those three, along with chard, collard greens, spinach, several varieties of lettuce, leeks, scallions, parsley, broccoli, and sugar snap peas, constitute our offerings for Saturday market on the coast tomorrow. We have many hands on board this week, so we made quick work of the reaping, by which I mean we finished in a mere 10 hours. Go team!
