Doesn't time fly

It does, doesn't it?
The other day I realized that blip #500 was coming up fast. Like most days I had no clue, no ideas, and wasn't sure if I should try and make a special effort or not
But over the 499 previous blips, I've come to realize that it isn't necessarily about the photography. It's a personal challenge to do something every day, no matter how lame it might appear in a few months' time.
Most of all, it's about visiting others blip pages to see how they got on with their day, their troubles, joys and successes. It's about seeing what's going on in garden plots, market stalls, parking lots, familiar names of towns and cities the length and breadth of the UK, far flung parts of the world, from Brazil to Arizona, to Egypt, and listening to the radio to songs that I can actually remember who sang them.

I find it strange, yet kinda thrilling, that even though I know very little about so many people, at some level, I like to think we've become friends
So to all who take precious time from their day to stop by and look at my little life, I thank you. Sincerely.
The thought of making 500 blips never entered my head when I started this last year. And even though I heard from others that blipping would become addictive, I didn't think so.
But they were right. Weren't you!

Ah well. Until tomorrow....
