P is for ..... perfection!

Perfection for now anyway, if I can keep the slugs at bay!

Spent quite a long time trying to get a shot of the Goldfinches today but failed miserably. They were very audible, feeding their youngsters, but would they come down to the feeders? Would they heck! Managed several of a rather scruffy looking Blue Tit, a smart Great Tit and a few other things but really it's the plants that were the stars.

Just loved the raindrops on the Hosta leaves. Of course, all of this damp weather is perfect for slugs and snails. Grow mine in containers with copper tape around them. This seems effective on the whole but they are bound to get through the defences somewhere!
