Dog Days and Life

Ole Big Eyes

There has been a gap in the blips....we have not had Mouses' sister Molly.

Molly lives in a bedroom and rarely strays beyond the stairs. I have known Molly since she was tiny. She and Mouse used to live in the kennels of one of the Guide Dog centers before it closed down. She has never known anything particularly frighting and no one has ever mistreated her.....he sister is the exact opposite and very 'in yer face'. Yet she lives in fear of....well not quite sure really, but there's plenty of fear!

Molly spent most of her days at the center living in cupboards, mainly the stationary cupboard and the laundry cupboard before discovering life in a house. Her medical records from her regular check ups with the dogs read something along these lines....fat....fat....getting fatter...fatter still....Huge!

Poor Molly! She has since lost the weight but unfortunately could do with a tummy tuck...shame there is no cat NHS.

Massive eyes....large voice and tiny tail... everyday she waits for the world to end.

"Wild, dark times are rumbling toward us, and the prophet who wishes to write a new apocalypse will have to invent entirely new beasts, and beasts so terrible that the ancient animal symbols of St. John will seem like cooing doves and cupids in comparison".

HEINRICH HEINE, "Lutetia; or, Paris," Augsberg Gazette, 1842
