Active walking - Haystacks from Rannerdale

First day of out "active walking" workshop today - means we can go slightly further and higher than on regular weeks. Fabulous day of lighting and weather - had sun, wind, rain, hail - everything! But it did provide some interesting conditions. This view was taken on the way up to the ridge at Rannerdale Knots, looking over Buttermere to Haystacks beyond. Great Gable can also be seen just to the left of Haystacks. The wind was blowing like mad at this point, but we all managed some spectacular shots. A 0.6 ND grad helped control the sky.
