Central Asia in Spring

A highlight of the trip was the night we spent in a homestay in Asraf Village in the Nuratau Mountains. In the morning I poked around and found this nice purple flower. It was a perfect moment of contentment.

It's the best time of year to visit Uzbekistan as everywhere is green and in bloom following winter and it's not too scorching during the day. Plus the cherries are in season and are amazing.
