Taking the Kids Out

Mrs YR had a hospital appointment this morning but it was cancelled at 8.15am so we decided to go to the wetlands to see what was about. When we arrived a Red Kite was being mobbed by gulls and there was a big commotion over one of the lakes. There were lots of young chicks about this morning but we are still waiting to see the baby Swans. There were Shelduck parents swimming around with 9 chicks and this family of Greylags.
