Secret Garden

The garden here is surrounded by tall trees, so feels quite private. Being in the bottom of a river valley means this is pretty much our view, but I'm not complaining.

Hot day today, but quite close like it's brewing up for a big storm. We tried out the pool, but only the kids (in wet suits) were happy to get in. Didn't really do anything all day. Perfect.

Came up with an idea yesterday for a centrally heated bed. Sort of a combination of an oil-filled radiator (the kind you plug into the mains) and a metal-framed bed. So you would have warm metal all around your bed (including at the bottom to put your feet on). Obviously it would make beds a little hard to get into/out of bedrooms due to size and weight... But otherwise I think it's infallible.
