High water

Out with the Friday walking group and there's plenty of water around. In some of the fields we were up to our ankles in it! After 18 months with very little rain, we have had buckets of it over the last six weeks - ever since they declared a hosepipe ban... Such is life! Rivers and reservoirs are well up but water authorities still say that the aquifers are still not full and we need a lot more rain. Well, let it fall in the autumn - we've had quite enough for now!
