A little too excited

Meet Rodney.

He is the youngest in my group. He's a smart kid. Not 'too smart' yet. Still wanting to be an 8yr old, but smart enough to challenges me to keep him engaged in activities.

Sweet kid. Always asks me to come watch him play soccer. He will find me before he leaves and gives me a verbal detail of his practice and game schedule and asks if I will be there to wave hello. :)

The fire dept. came out for fire safety week and brought their 'goodies' with them. Rodney couldn't wait to get into the firetruck. So much, in fact, when he jumped on in there, he stayed in motion and knocked into the center console. I was worried his delicate sense of pride would be bruised but that was not the case. Just the arm. :)
