Happy Mother's Day!

Today was a fantastic day! I finally took on my lilac bush. Each year it gets taller and more gangly looking. This morning I poked around on the Internet and found some direction for trimming the unruly thing. I cut off all of the blooms and filled two vases with them. Instead of being 10 feet high, it's now closer to 6 feet tall. Hopefully it will still bloom next year.
