Giants

I was at our the town's cultural centre today to watch one of my daughters dancing in the end of year dance show. Two giants stand at the top of the stairs to the auditorium. Giants are part of Belgian folklore (and even recognised by UNESCO) and are part of processions organised at Mardi Gras and other festivities throughout the year.

Not a great photo due to the lighting but the two kids playing in front of them give you an idea of the scale and you can see the face grill where the man carrying the giant looks out.
