Clare & I attended a workshop today to learn the basics of cold cathode lighting at Neon Workshops in Wakefield today. We were shown four skills and each came home with the pieces of glass that we'd cut, bent to a template, free formed and joined. I would have also come home with a neon filled tubes that I won (for being a geek) but I forgot to collect it!

Clare had much more of a skill for joining two pieces of glass that I did, hers was easily the best of the six students in the group. I forgot one of the golden rules & ended up blowing a huge hole in the side of my join, but it means it has character.
