Joyful Reaper

Weeping Willow

Ever since I was a child I have loved these trees. They generally stand alone because the ground they prefer is too wet for other trees. The shade under their leaves is so deep that nothing else can grow there. That means no weeds or poison ivy and even the bugs shy away from a place with no food. When a boy crawls out of the sun and back into that cool, shady, quiet space he can watch all around him in between the leaves but no one can see in because of the bright sunlight out there. Its a place where the dirt almost beggs to be dug in and minature worlds pop up at the snap of a twig.
