Dead as a degu

I went over to Hurst Green to check out Michelle and Simon's new house today - it's really very lovely - and whilst out there we had to take their little lady degu Ratty to the vets. She's had a really bad head cold which has made it hard for her to move and she hasn't been eating so the vet decided it was time to say goodbye. RIP Ratty - you will be missed.
