so, mercy didn't get baptised today (TIA!). but we'd already driven out to kaniki when we found out so we decided to make a day of it anyway.

the interns got to say their final (emotional) goodbye to euroclass and we got to wander around beautiful kaniki and then we got to go for ice-cream at the mall.

it's funny because while i don't have any biological children i sometimes feel like i have 8 teenage kids! ha ha. it means that i get to feel proud when they excel but also hear their stories of teenage heartbreak!

this is me with mercy and lisa (our wonderful dance teacher and my temporary housemate). mercy is an incredible young woman who we have the absolute joy and privilege of working with at school mission. she is going far!
