Gargling

A grey dull looking blip just like today's weather

I've been gargling with salt water today, my throat has been feeling not-quite-right this whole week. on and off. I'm putting it down to allergies as nothing else as developed as yet, and hopefully it stays that way.

It's on days like these that I get both angry and sad that I have not been able to make our rented accommodation a home, I have boxes of photo frames in storage instead of up on these white stark walls, a few material things that mean something to me are in boxes, and it hits home when looking for an inside blip at just how 'cold' this home is, it's on days like these I wish things could be different, but I'm still smiling and happy to be safely here.

I wasn't brave enough to venture outside in these gusty winds we're experiencing today, unless you're flying a kite it's best to be indoors.

Home-made minced beef & onion pie is almost ready to go in the oven for feeding time! Didn't manage to watch BGT last night so will catch up tonight.
