First plane journey

Back blip I'm afraid as I didn't get home until 1130 last night and was fairly monosyllabic by then.
Had a brilliant day yesterday as Thom, my mum and I flew down to Sussex to see my brother, his wife and their gorgeous daughter and baby boy.
It was Thom's first time on a plane and it couldn't have been a better day as it was scattered cumulus clouds across the whole of the UK and we could see loads from the plane. Thom loved it and he even got to meet the pilots when we landed at Gatwick.
We then got to my brothers house and had a lovely afternoon having lots of cuddles of my new nephew and playing with my wee poppet of a 2 year old niece. You easily forget how gorgeous kids are at that age and it was lovely seeing Thom and her playing together.
The flight home was just as good after having a decadent tea at the Seafood Bar at Gatwick airport. Thom only slept for 10 minutes on the flight back and managed really well.
