WHAT I BROUGHT BACK FROM ARRAN

According to the Professor, you catch cold from getting cold and wet. According to me, you catch cold if there is a virus about and your resistance is lowered, perhaps through having a cold nose. According to the travelling companion, we are both right, but I have not taken into account that there is nearly always a virus about. So I guess the Professor is right.

Anyway, I brought back a stinker from my recent spell in Arran, so here is how I spent the day, in bed with my Kindle, my iPad and my drug of choice, while the Professor ran up and down stairs bringing cups of tea, paracetamol and chocolate. For there is almost no illness that chocolate will not improve.
