It Doesn't Purr

Today there was another episode of cat abandonment in my neighborhood, just like the one I blipped only four days ago --and on the same block. I took a picture but I didn't want to do the same blip again.

This time, however, there was more information. A landlady was offering a mother cat and her kitten (about 2 months old) for adoption after her tenants had left them behind when vacating an apartment. It happens quite regularly in May, I am told. As far as I coould tell in a few minutes, the landlady was doing what she could for the cats. That's all I know.

Later, I went to an oriental supermarket and saw these catfish ( my favorite fish by far) in a tank. A catfish is not a feline: it doesn't purr.
