Leanachan Forest

We did our usual circuit today-about 5 miles when we come here with the dogs- and unusually we actually met another couple of folk with a dog. We can normally get the place to ourselves. In truth this woodland isn't bonny close up and the sections which have been cut down are left in right mangled post harvest mess. Still, it does afford the walker some fine views towards the Grey Corries, Aonach Beag and Aonach Mor. The burns and rivers which tumble from these slopes are actually quite low just now because the recent heavy rain has landed on these hills as snow.
