Last year Fenerbahce won the Turkish title on the final day of the season. This time it was their Istanbul rivals Galatasaray's turn to celebrate, and after denying Fener on their own ground no less. At least Graeme Souness wasn't around this time; gladly, I can say the same about Newcastle.
