What a day

a morning doing chores whilst dad painted a ceiling (thanks dad, it looks perfect)

then an afternoon at the park.
our park was given to the public 100 years ago and they decided to have a party to celebrate.
So we went along and danced to dixeland jazz, the charleston, some jamican creole, the full gamut. The kids loved it.
Really excited now about the festival tickets we've bought for later in summer. I think the kids are ready.

Oh and we heard some great news, really great news.
