Clock Face

The name dandelion comes from the French, 'dent de lion' meaning 'lion's tooth', describing the deeply indented leaves.

My dad called them 'wet the beds', they are used as a diuretic in herbalism.

I just like the very sunny flowers and magical round 'clock' seed heads.
But then, I don't have a garden.

This one was growing on a bit of old Roman wall in St Alphage park in the City.
