Flap Flap Fly

That was what it sounded like, what a noise.
A morning at Duddingston loch, wondering if any baby geese had arrived yet, but no.
Then out for coffee.

Home to apply for The Book Festival. That was a huge application .Took over an hour to complete. It' s a job for a bookseller for 3weeks in August, right up my street and I am excited at the prospect. Of course I'll probably get nowhere with the application , but I've got to try.

Then to the pub with my brother and sis-in-law ; the newly refurbished Chain Pier, very nice. My pint of cider has gone down very nicely.
Steven had laser treatment on both of his eyes last night and gladly it was a success, he feels great and is so happy at ditching the glasses. The process however sounded not very nice!
His eyes were still a bit red , but will calm down over the next few weeks.

I'm feeling a bit tipsy , so away to find my fahita ingredients!
